Abstract
On the base of synthetically analyses of sand desertification, climatic change and human activity in Inner Mongolia, some conclusions are obtained. Human irrational activities bring about land sandy desertification in the eastern and middle parts of Inner Mongolia; On the other hand, there are natural processes of sandy desertification in the western part, which is accelerated by human irrational activities.
