Abstract

It is generally agreed that breath serves as source of energy for singing. What is the function of emotion? What is the relationship between breath and emotion? What function does emotion play in singing? The paper proposes that it should be too late to take emotion into consideration only after the grasping of singing skills. Emotion itself serves as the application of singing skills. It is expected that importance should be attached to the emotion, which should be put into full display for freely controlling the singing.
