Abstract

Catalytic ozonation was exploited to treat the wastewater containing oxalic acid, and effect of some parameters including ozone flow rate, initial oxalic acid concentration, amount of catalyst, temperature and the initial pH value on degradation process was investigated. The results showed that the oxalic acid removal efficiency was continuously enhanced with the increase of the ozone flow rate and the decrease of temperature. Meanwhile, the initial pH value has an important effect on the oxalic acid removal and removal rate become the greatest when the pH value is 2.
