Abstract
For the problem that the design of hybrid brake-by-wire system was lack of theoretical guidance, the matching design method of hybrid brake-by-wire system was put forward and its braking performance was analyzed after the establishment of mathematic model of hybrid brake-by-wire system. Some conclusions were gotten as follow: the electromagnetic brake and motor brake in accordance with the design requirements were certified by simulation. The braking energy can be effectively recovered by motor brake for electromagnetic brake or other electrical equipment on vehicle. The hybrid brake-by-wire system could reduce the use of the friction brake and solve the problems of short service life of the brake pad and the noise and dust pollutions effectively as a substitute for the conventional friction braking.
