Abstract

Moment in Peking,as one of Lin Yutang's trilogy,reflects the philosophy of Confucianism and Taoism as well as that of Buddhism.The embodiment of Buddhist philosophy is verified from two points: Lin Yutang's understanding of the philosophy of Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism,and the analysis of Mulan,Mr.Yao,and some other minor characters in the novel.
