Abstract
According to statistics,there 23 critics who criticize the talents of CAO Zhi as well as his poetry and prose in Wei-Jin of Six Dynasties Period.They believe: first,the gracefulness of Siyan and beauty of Wuyan found in CAo Zhi's poetry establishes his supreme position in poetic criticism;secondly,the natural is the high evaluation of his works;thirdly,criticism of his other form of works,which includes letters,theoretical works,ode and elegy,shows his ample style and harmonious tone.LIU Xie and others make judgment on the quality of his works,which also shows the breakthrough and development of his writing,and the changes of the standard of criticism of CAO's writing.Their criticism pays attention not only to the new characteristics of stylistic development,but also to the tone and word.
