Abstract
Objective:To study the effects of oxymatrine on fibroblastic proliferation and synthesis of procollagenⅠ and its mechanism in fibrosis. Methods:The fibroblastic proliferation and synthesis of procollagenⅠwere measured by MTT bioassay and immunocytochemistry. Results: The oxymatrine significantly inhibited fibroblastic proliferation, growth and synthesis of procollagenⅠin a concentration-dependent manner. Conclusion: The oxymatrine has anti-hepatic fibrosis effects through inhibiting fibroblastic proliferation, growth and synthesis of procollagenⅠ.
