Abstract
A flow injection-hydride generation-derivative atomic absorption spectrometry for the determination of selenium is described.Variables such as acidity, reducing agent concen- tration, argon flow rate, reaction coil length, sensitivity grade and other parameters are op- timized.Attention was paid to sensitivity, detection limits, repeatability and determination of selenium in standard substances and in tap water. The results show the proposed method is a simple, accurate and auto method with a detection limit of 0.03 ng/mL.
