Abstract

Heilongjiang province has abundant sericulture resources,with a 1.6 million hm2 of mulberry slopes and 6667 hm2 of mulberry field,which produce over 10 thousand tons of tussah cocoon and 800 tons of mulberry cocoons per year. The paper introduced the current situation of sericulture development as well as the comprehensive utilization of sericulture resources,elaborated the development prospect of the following aspects as intensive processing program of sericulture,biological prevention and genetic resource utilization.
