Abstract
Several methods have been adopted to increase the permeation of drugs in transdermal drug delivery systems in recent years. One simple and convenient approach is the use of vesicles and particulates. This paper provides an overview of the development of vesicles(deformable liposomes, ethosomes, niosomes) and particulates(microemulsions, solid lipid nanoparticles and nanostructured lipid carriers) for transdermal drug delivery system, with special emphasis on the mechanism and research in this fi eld.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
