Abstract
To verify the effects of viscoelastic damper for seismic mitigation,a six-storey steel frame structure with viscoelastic dampers and the original structure without viscoelastic dampers are established and compared by the finite element analysis software MIDAS / GEN under horizontal seismic. The analysis testified the efficiency of viscoelastic dampers by comparing structure with viscoelastic damper to common structure.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
