Abstract
The effect of ball milling process, namely duration and rotating speed of ball milling,on the particle size of powder was investigated during the preparation and mixture of Ni and Ti powders by using mechanical alloying, and the phase analysis of powder was also done. The results show that the amorphous Ni-Ti powder may be obtained when ball milled for 60 h at rotating speed of 260 r/min,and may be crystallized when annealed at 530 ℃ for 30 min in argon atmosphere.
