Abstract
This paper has analyzed the formation and the features of the Northern Shaanxi dialect based on the factor of the political and economic development,geographical environment and the population.Northem Shaanxi dialect has quite a lot sub dialects whose pronunciations and intonations are complicated,some of them are extraordinary.
