Abstract

Four kinds of temperature gradient modes having been commonly used at home and abroad are introduced.With reference to the cantilever construction of Zhangjiagang Bridge,the finite element analysis program ANSYS is used to conduct a spatial mechanical analysis of temperature gradient effect in the process of cantilever construction of prestressed concrete continuous box girder bridge with varying cross sections.The influences of temperature variations at different cantilever construction stages on the displacement of the controlled sections of the bridge are discussed and some conclusions of reference values for the construction control of the continuous box girder bridge have been generalized.
