Abstract
The micro-suspension rapid dyeing technique was employed in the mercerized wool with Lanaset dyestuffs. The effects of different dyeing process on the dyeing behavior of mercerized wool, color fastness of dyed samples and damage to fibers were analyzed by the comparison of the micro-suspension dyeing with the traditional dyeing. The results showed that the micro-suspension dyeing could shorten the dyeing time by 25%,which could attain the rapid and uniform dyeing, and the shade of dyed product was vivid. The damage to the fiber in the dyeing process was reduced, and the handle of the fibers were also improved. In addition, each color fastness of dyeing sample could meet the demand of practical production.
