Abstract

The amount of municipal solid waste was increasing with development of urbanization,and many cities ran into a condition of being surrounded by waste. Landfill technology was a usual method for MSW treatment,but nowadays it was not a nice choice because of land limited. Incineration was an effective means of waste reduction as it can reduce90% volume and 75% mass. The MSW incineration technology was described,the advantages and disadvantages of three common incinerators were analyzed,and the treatment of incineration flue gas was discussed.
