Research Progress on Chemical Remediation of Soils Contaminated by Heavy Metals

Abstract
An overview is given about the chemical remediation of heavy metal contaminated soils such as chemical leaching method,chemical fixation method,chemical reduction method and permeable reactive barrier method.The sources and hazards of soils contaminated by heavy metals are also generalized.Through review of these remediation methods,the applications of various chemical remediation methods were compared and the remediation methods of heavy metals contaminated were discussed.
