PROBLEM AND SUSTAINABLE UTILIZATION OF WATER RESOURCES IN CHINA

Abstract

The crisis of water resources is one of the vital environmental problems in the world. China is a country with shortage of water; and water resource per capita is only 25%of world average. Meanwhile, the spatial and temporal distribution of water resources is uneven. In this paper the status of water resources and problems arisen from it are analyzed, and some strategic measures around solving the crisis are presented.
