Abstract
This paper studies the application condition of down-the-hole drill in rock excavation and tunnel,compares the construction cost and progress of air-leg driller and those of down-the-hole drill in tunnel construction, and points out that using down-the-hole drill can greatly save construction cost,quicken construction progress and gain obviously economic benefits.
