Abstract

Flotation separation of copper-zinc sulphide ores has been a difficult problem in the mineral processing field. In light of the fact that mixed concentrate of copper-zinc has the characteristics of fine dissemination size, high reagent residue and sphalerite being activated by copper cation, the flotation experiment was carried out.The experimental results showed that activated carbon and sodium sulfide were used to dereagent achieved perfect result, diethyldithiocarbamate has more strong collecting and selecting as collector, the combined use of the new type restrainer FS,zinc sulfate and sodium sulfite can depress sphalerite effectively. After one stage of roughing, copper concentrate with grade of 16.85% and recovery 62.50% were obtained when the mixed concentrate of copper-zinc with grade of 7.88% copper and 22.45% zinc, the content of zinc in the copper concentrate was decreased to 7.53%.
