Progress in Study on Methadone in Maintenance Treatment of Heroin Addicts

Methadone is a kind of long-effect medicine composed artificially and broadly,which has been used in treatment of opiate addiction originally.At present,with the incidence rise of ADIS,the study of methadone maintenance programs associated with drug interference,crimes induced by drug-abuse,spread of diseases,social and family function of drug-addicts has great significance in our country.This document reviewed varied methods for methadone in clinical experience in recent years and the Methadone Maintenance Programs and suggested the research direction in the future.
