Abstract
The durability properties of polymer modified cement mortar such as drying shrinkage,impermeability,carbonation and frost resistance were compared with those of ordinary cement mortar.Their micro-mechanism was analyzed by use of XRD and SEM.The results show that the drying shrinkage of the polymer modified cement mortar evidently decreases and it is lower with the increase of the ratio of polymer.The impermeability,carbonation and frost resistance gradually increase with the increase of the ratio of polymer.The impermeability of Nano-SiO2 polymer modified cement mortar is the best,and the carbonation is relatively poor,but it is better than that of ordinary cement mortar.
