Effects of different artificial pollination time and repeated pollination times on hybrid seed production of black wax gourd

The black wax gourd was pollinated during the flowering day to study the effect of different pollination time and repeated pollination times on hybrid seed production. The results showed that the fruit rate was the highest when black wax gourcl pollinated at 8:00 am,while the highest seed number per fruit was got when pollination was carried out at 9:00 am. Repeated pollination times had no significant effect on seed quality, while two times increased seed number per fruit in the morning(8:00-10:00 am).
