Investigation and analysis on the plant compostion in Xianlin campus of Nanjing Forest Police College

The investigation on species of plants in the Xianlin campus of Nanjing Forest Police College showed that there were 215 species,belonging to 79 families,in the campus,and Rosaceae,Magnoliaceae,Asteraceae et al.were the dominant species.After the analysis on the compositon of arbors,shrubs and herbs and their seasonal changes,we found there were a problem of plants arrangement.Considering the demand of teaching,the rare and endangered species are suggested to be introduced in the campus.Finally,the problems of campus landscaping were discovered,and corresponding suggestions were put forward.
