Abstract
The issue of levels has been a hard problem in the study of Marxist theory. To solve this problem, an effective way is to borrow Lakatos's methodology of scientific research program.Through the analysis of Marxist philosophy, political economy and the relationship between scientific socialism, with the unity of history and logic approach to Marxist theory, we can take as the those ideas that play a supportive role and are quite consistent in Marxist theories, so as to clarify the Marxist hierarchy. Through analysis we can see that in the Marxist theoretical system, the basic hard-core principle is just Marxist philosophy. It is only the Marxist philosophy that is the soul and essence of the whole Marxist theory.
