Abstract
Mn-Zn ferrite was made from ferric oxide, zinc oxide and manganese carbonate by grinding and burning. Then cement-based composite absorption materials was prepared with Mn-Zn ferrite and portland cement. The effect of ferrite absorber content, cementitious materials and surface shape of specimen on absorption properties of cement-based composite were studied. The experiment data indicate that stability of ferrite in cement is good, effects of its content and surface shape of cement-based composite on absorption properties are more remarkable. The reflectivity of cement-based composite with 35%(by mass) ferrite is less than-6 dB,reflectivity of specimen with coarse surface is less than-7 dB in 8~12.5 GHz frequency range, and the least reflectivity is -10.5 dB.
