Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of Panax Notoginseng Saponins on endothelial function in patients with unstable angina. Methods 60 patients with unstable angina were divided into 2 groups randomly, and treated with Panax Notoginseng Saponins or Isoket respectively. Results The serum level of No increased significantly and the serum level of ET decreased significantly with Panax Notoginsong Saponins, which had no significant difference compared with those of Isoket group. Conclusion It has suggested that Panax Notoginseng Saponins could improve endothelial function and dilate blood vessel. And this activity may be factors contributing to mitigate the symptom of unstable angina.
