EVALUATION OF LAND URBANIZATION IN SHANNXI PROVINCE

Abstract

Land urbanization is one of important indexes to measure the level of urbanization.Taking Shanxi province as research area,and using the method of multi-factor analysis and urban land proportion,the paper measured land urbanization level of 11 cities(including Yangling) in Shanxi.The results showed that there are great differences of land urbanization among cities in Shanxi,which presewits significant regional characteristics.The level of land urbanization in Guanzhong is much higher than that in southern and northern Shanxi.
