Abstract

The structural features of the highway-railway freight cars as well as the testing on track in our country are described briefly. The inspection, repair and maintenance rules as well as the possible trouble categories and rescue schemes are discussed. The safety and reliability of operation of highway-railway freight cars in our country are demonstrated. The relevant problems needed to be solved before starting the operation of the highway-railway freight cars are put forward.
