Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlation of p16,p21,p53 and proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA) in retinoblastoma .Methods Immunohistochemical staining was used to determine the expression of the p16,p21,p53 and PCNA in 36 cases of retinoblastoma. Results The positive expression rates of the p16,p21,p53 and PCNA in retinoblastoma were 47.0%,50.0%,66.6%,61.1%. There was a significant different histopathological grades(P0.05). Conclusion It is concluded that p16,p21,p53 and PCNA play an important role in the genesis and progression of retinoblastoma.
