The study of rural community has been drawn attention from sociology,geography,rural anthropology and so on since 1990's in America.Each discipline has made a wide,in-depth study of its concept and connation,changes and their mechanism.Theoretical system as rural urbanization,rural and urban continuum,time and spatial mode of rural social changes come into being;and the study ranges from rural areas at medium level to macro level to micro-mechanic analysis of its elements.China can draw on the experience,theory and methods of the study of the changes in foreign rural community.
