Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical curative effects of the combinations of Lamivudine and thymopolypeptides enteric-coated tablets in treatment of toxic hepatitis B.Methods 96 patients with chronic hepatitis B were divided into the experiment and control groups.Lamivudine were given orally to the patients(48 cases) in experiment group at a dosage of 100mg once a day for consecutive 48 weeks,while at the same time thymopolypetides enteric-coated tablets were taken orally at a dosage of 6mg three times a day for consecutive 12 weeks.Only lamivudine were taken orally in 48 cases as the control group.At the 12th,24th,and 48th weeks and 20 weeks after medication,blood from the patients were taken for detection of molecular markers of the hepatitis B virus,the quantities of HBV-DNA and the levels of ALT.The side effects were watched on.Results The recovery rate of ALT in the treatment group within 48 weeks and 20 weeks after medications were 92% and 87% respectively,which were higher than those in the control group with 78% and 50% respectively(P0.05).In the 12 th,24 th and 48th weeks and 20 weeks after medications,negative rates of HBeAg in the treatment group present were 30%,32%,43% and 35% respectively,which were higher than those in control groups with 7%,10%,17% and 15%(P0.05).In the 48th week and 20 weeks after medications,the negative rates of HBV-DNA were 88% and 82% respectively,which were higher than those in control groups with 68% and 47%(P0.05).No adverse response was found in the two groups.Conclusion The combinations of Lamivudine and thymopolypeptides enteric-coated tablets is able to effectively increase the ALT recovery rate,reduce the levels of blood serum HBV-DNA and increase the negative rate of HBeAg.
