Abstract
The tributyl citrate was synthesized by using citric acid and n-butanol as the raw materials and sodium bisulfate as the catalyst. The factors affecting the esterification rate were studied. The results showed the optimum reaction conditions:the alcohol/acid = 4.8(with 0.1 mol citric acid),4.5 g sodium bisulfate(an excellent catalyst for synthesizing tributyl citrate),reaction time 2.5 h,reaction temperature 110~120℃,and the esterification rate reached 88.1%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
