Abstract

With the development of mobile communication,GPRS is widely being used because of its particular advantages.Presently one of the important factors of developing GPRS is its capacity programming.In this paper introduced the GPRS transportation networks and its characters,then stressed on analyzing GPRS capacity based on the traffic model,and put forward the formula for calculating it.The results indicated that the using of GPRS can mostly enhance the channel efficiency of GSM in the case of satisfying the necessary percent of call lost and service qualities.
