Abstract
The paper puts forward the method of nonlinear analysis of special-shaped R.C. columns, while the sliding of longitudinal reinforcement anchoring and the restriction effect for concrete by thickening of stirrups are all considered. At the same time a computer program for full range analysis of special-shaped columns is complied. At last this paper also analyses special-shaped columns subjected to biaxially eccentric loading using finite element program ANSYS5.7.The ductile behaviors are investigated according to computation.
