The fundamental music theory is the required basic art course for specialties of music(including music performance,musicology,music education and music media),dance and drama,and is also important teaching content.There is successful experience of studying and reforming music theory teaching,and of combining music theory with other courses related basic music theory.But as for the teaching contents of music theory for specialties of dance and drama which is different from that of music specialty,the simplification,choice-making and the using of suitable teaching method should be scientific,rigorous and standardized.
