Abstract
OBJECTIVE To observe the clinical characteristic of fundus fluorescein angiography(FFA)and indocyanine green angiography(ICGA)in the patients with exudative age-related macular degeneration (AMD). METHODS FFA and ICGA were performed in the 20 eyes of 26 patients with exudative AMD,and their findings were analyzed.RESULTS Of 12 eyes with occult vascularized retinal pigment epithelium(RPE)lesion by FFA,3 had classical Choroidal neovascularization(CNV)by ICGA.Of 3 eyes with occult vascularized RPE detachment by FFA,1 had classical CNV by ICGA.CONCLUSIONS FFA and ICGA both are significance for clinical study of AMD.
