A Study of the Lower and Middle Triassic Sequence Stratigraphy in Guangyuan Region,Sichuan

The Lower and Middle Triassic sedimentary strata in Guyangyuan region,Sichuan may be divided into I second-order sequence and 6 third-order sequences on the basis of the study of outcrop profile and by the use of theory and methodology of marine sequence stratigraphhy.A curve of relative fluctuation of sea level is compiled on the basis of sedimentary sequence and evolutionary characteristics of system domain.Stratigrapical framework of the Lower and Middle Triassic marine sequence stratigraphy in Guangyuan region is established on the basis of division and correlation of sedimentary sequences.
