Research Progress on the Preparation of Sebacic Acid and the Treatment of Wastewater

The sebacic acid is an important chemical raw material and very extensive use. Study on this technology described the preparation of sebacic acid from castor oil in recent years cracking processes. Using vacuum distillation,recrystallization,bleaching methods can obtain high-purity sebacic acid. Various methods were used in wastewater treatment,such as extraction,evaporation method,and biological treatment,to achieve clean production,and good economic benefit and social benefit,The effort direction of sebacic acid production was pointed out as well.
