Abstract

To explore the diagnosis and treatment of testicular torsion in children. The clinical date of cases of testicular torsion were summarized and analyed. All of the 14 cases underwent operation. 12 cases were with intravaginal torsion, of these 9 cases were removed for necrosis and only 3 testicles were saved. 2 cases were of extravaginal torsion with testicular necrosis. [Conclusions] Early diagnosis and immediately treatment is the key for salvage of the testicle in testicular torsion of children.
