Abstract

In order to provide some important data for IVF technique, the effect of cryopreservation and cold preservation sheep semen on the cleavage rate in vitro fertilization were studied. The results showed that, the cleavage rate of swimming-up cold preservation semen78.6% was higher significantly than that of cryopreservation or cold preservation semen by percoll-density-gradient-centrifugation method 60.2% and 62.3%(P0.05),and cryopreservation semen by the same method 21.1%(P0.01);the cleavage rates had no obvious different between cold preservation and cryopreservation semen preparation with the percoll-density-gradient-centrifugation method(P0.05),but they were significantly higher than those of swimming-up cryopreservation semen(P0.05).In conclusion, cold preservation sheep semen was a very good method of preparation IVF sperm,swimming-up cold preservation semen was better than percoll-density-gradient-centrifugation method.
