Abstract

How to inherit,develop and cultivate the aspiring culture and spirits of colleges is a practical problem confronted by all contemporary universities and colleges in China.Starting with an interpretation of the connotation and the functions of college spirit,the author of this article highlights its essence and analyzes its absent appearance and,finally,argues that the spirits of contemporary colleges should be rebuilt based on new ideas and values.
