Abstract

Space based missile defense is a hot topic in many large military countries.As a key part of missile defense,missile early warning plays an important role in missile defense.Tracking of mid-phase missiles is a primary factor for evaluating the detecting capacity of early warning system.The developing process of space-based missile defense system is analyzed from the perspective of application in the military background of missile defense between red and blue armies.Then a framework for the simulation system is presented,and designation and implementation of the simulation model is also detailed.After that,the simulation system of the space based ballistic missile defense system is established by using the planar and three-dimensional control of STK.The simulation system provides a platform for technical and theoretical research on space based missile attack and defense,and consequently helps analyze and evaluate the capacity of lower space based early warning constellations on missile tracking.
