Construction of Competency-based Training System for Higher Vocational School Teachers

Abstract

Training of teachers in higher vocational schools is an important measure for enhancing construction quality of its teaching staff.Analysis on problems existed in teacher training of higher vocational schools show that,the construction of competency-based training system for higher vocational school teachers should take competency model building as the starting point,and its contents include the determination of teachers' competency,training needs analysis,training program development and implementation and assessment of training effects.
