PRELIMINARY TALKING ABOUT STABILITY OF FLEXIBLE CATENARY SPAN

Abstract

Under ordinary situations, the flexible span of catenary may be applied on electrified district with train running speed no more than 160 km/h.Combined with the structural characteristics of Re100c type flexible catenary span used on Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway Line and Harbin-Dalian Railway Line,the author proposes his several opinions concerned with the problems which influence the stability of the flexible span.Several countermeasures for solving these problems are proposed also.
