Urban Space Turn and New Urban Geography

With the impetus of globalization and the information technology as well as the turn of economic geography, the paper think the urban space is essentially going through the turning. Urban geographer should not only conduct researches to the material space, but also humanistic space and cultural space in cities. Based on looking at the city from the merge of urban spatial subjectivity and objectivity, the paper proposes carrying out the research of new urban geography.
