The Negative Transfer of MT on Syntax Level of English Writing

The difference between the native language and the target language caused the negative transfer of mother tongue in second or foreign language learning,which is commonly seen in new-learners.The negative transfer of MT posed many obstacles to the English learning of Chinese students.The paper aims to find out the most influential factors in the negative transfer of Chinese for Chinese students' English writing study through an imperial study;therefore help English learners to eliminate the negative interference of Chinese in English writing.
