Study on Comprehensive Effects of Mulching Straw on Orchard

Abstract
The effects on continuously mulching straw several years in orchard to soil enzyme activity, soil nutrient content, soil physical and chemical characteristics in orchard and fruit tree growth were discussed. The results indicated that mulching straw made soil enzyme activity increase by times, quick results nutrient increase quickly, soil bulk density decrease and fruit tree growth increase. Suitable time and methods of orchard mulching straw under different conditions were advanced. Improving suggestions were put forward aiming at existent problems during mulching straw.
