Abstract
Objective To investigate the molecular characteristics and genotypes of human Norovirus(NV) in acute diarrhea in Suzhou. Methods Fecal specimens were collected from children(5 years) with acute diarrhea.Norovirus of 153 specimens were detected by multiplex RT-PCR.PCR products of several positive samples were randomly selected and sequenced. The sequences were analyzed by phylogenetic analysis. Results Twenty-five Norovirus positive cases were detected in 153 facal specimens(16.34%),25 isolates were Norovirus Ⅱ-types.Conclusion Norovirus is one of the major pathogens causing acute diarrhea of children, and GⅡ-4/2006b variant and like strains are probably identified as the prevalent strain from 2009 to 2010 in Suzhou,Jiangsu Province.
