Abstract
Residential microclimate is the main factor deciding outdoor thermal comfort and construction energy consumption.Xining locates in extremely cold climate region in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau of our country and bears unique residential microclimate feature.This paper conducts test on residential microclimate in winter specific to Binhe Railway Community of Xining,which includes air temperature,air humidity,wind speed,solar radiation and black globe temperature.Through calculating thermal stress index of wet black globe temperature WBGT,the outdoor thermal environment of each testing point is analyzed and through comparing data of the local meteorological station with those of each testing point,the influencing factors regarding residential microclimate in winter of Xining are also analyzed.
